Nominations being accepted for Silver Knight Award

DE PERE: The St. Norbert College Office of Communications is accepting nominations for the Civis Princeps Silver Knight Award which will be presented at the 2005 De Pere Community Night on Tuesday, October 25. All nominations are due by Thursday, September 8. Since 1968, De Pere Community Night has celebrated the relationship between St. Norbert College and the De Pere community. The Civis Princeps Silver Knight Award is bestowed upon outstanding individuals nominated by De Pere service clubs, civic organizations or other members of the community. The winner each year is selected by a vote of past recipients. Jack Van Enkenvort was chosen as the Silver Knight Award winner in 2004. Each nominee must be a De Pere resident, for a minimum of five consecutive years, who has demonstrated leadership, imagination and dedication and made a significant public service contribution to the community of De Pere. Letters of support and a summary of the nominee's community contributions should be included with the nomination form. Anyone, including individuals, service organizations and churches, can nominate individuals for this award. Previous nominees must be re-nominated.
