DE PERE: The National Football League's salary cap is about "fitting pieces in a puzzle." Andrew Brandt has done it successfully for the Green Bay Packers for six years. Brandt, vice president of player finance/general counsel for the Packers, will talk about his role in the organization to St. Norbert College students on Thursday, Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. in Fort Howard Theater, Bemis International Center. The event is free and open to the public as well. Brandt will discuss negotiating player contracts, dealing with player agents and managing the complex salary cap in the NFL. An attorney, Brandt graduated cum laude from both Stanford University and Georgetown University Law School. He has undertaken numerous speaking engagements throughout Wisconsin sharing the philosophies and strategies for the Packers' success.
