St. Norbert College Distinguished Lecture Series line-up announced

St. Norbert College will take part in a series of lectures that begin Saturday, Jan. 15 and will run through Saturday, March 5. These lectures will be presented by St. Norbert College faculty members and will focus on a variety of social, political and cultural issues. The lectures are held at the Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek and are free and open to the public. All lectures will start at 9 a.m.

The lecture schedule is as follows:

Saturday, Jan. 15, Ed Risden presents "The Emergence of the Renaissance Mind"

Saturday, Jan. 29, Robert Kramer presents "Islam and the West: Anatomy of Fear and Mistrust"

Saturday, Feb. 12, Cheryl Kalny presents "First Ladies and Their Public Images: Roosevelt to Obama"

Saturday, Feb. 19, Michael Gemignani presents "Crashing, Burning, and Learning: Internet Hysteria"

Saturday, March 5, Eliot Elfner presents "The Ambiguity of Leadership"
