DE PERE: A "Day of Celebration" to honor St. Norbert College student and faculty/staff collaborations will be held Tuesday, March 23 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the Ray Van Den Heuvel Family Campus Center. The event, hosted by the offices of the dean, admissions and faculty development, is free and open to the public. The event will highlight St. Norbert College's tradition of encouraging student and faculty/staff collaborations that have resulted in an array of scholarly research as well as creative works. Thirty-one collaborations, including 13 presentations/panels, three exhibits, and 15 poster presentations spanning humanities, natural sciences, and the social sciences will be a part of the celebration. "We are celebrating the life of the mind at work across campus in labs, studios and in other scholarly or creative settings," said Carol Cortez, director of Faculty Development at St. Norbert College.
