Christopher Herrick will be performing at the St. Norbert Abbey on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 2:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public, however, donations will be taken at the door. Herrick is an international concert organist, who has been described by Gramophone Magazine as "a musician with a powerful urge to communicate...drawing on his enormous technical and intellectual resources to turn out performances, which sometimes amaze, often astound, but never fail to stimulate." Herrick is well versed in the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, and has produced numerous albums in partnership Britain's finest classical recording company, Hyperion Records. Along with an extensive touring and recording career, Herrick also spent 10 years at Westminster Abbey playing for many royal and state functions and gave over 200 recitals. Herrick's upcoming concert is sure to be filled with excitement, artistry and beautiful music.
