The Rev. Donald Senior, president emeritus and chancellor of Catholic Theological Union (CTU), will speak at St. Norbert College’s Pilgrim Forum Lecture Series on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 7:30 a.m. in the Hendrickson Dining Room of the F. K. Bemis International Center, 299 Third St., De Pere. Doors open at 7:15 a.m.; a complimentary continental breakfast will be served during the event.

The Pilgrim Forum is a series dedicated to sharing information and spurring thought and discussion around the basic tenets of the Catholic faith and tradition, specifically, the Apostles’ Creed. Once a semester, speakers examine a portion of the Creed, breaking it open in thought-provoking and accessible ways, which invites attendees to understand more deeply what they believe.

Senior will present “The Overarching and Dynamic Biblical Vision of the Spirit as the Source of All Life.” In addition to serving as president emeritus and chancellor, Senior is a professor of New Testament at the CTU. He is a frequent lecturer and speaker throughout the United States and abroad; has published numerous books and
articles on biblical topics; serves on multiple boards and commissions; and is actively involved in interreligious dialogue, particularly with the Jewish and Muslim communities.

Senior’s lecture is free and open to the public, but reservations are required on or before Nov. 12. To make reservations, visit www.snc.edu/pilgrimforum.

The Pilgrim Forum is made possible through the generosity of Dan Ritter. In 1988, Ritter created the endowment that has funded the Pilgrim Forum as well as the Ritter Forum on Public Affairs.
