Chris Hess, president and CEO of Goodwill North Central Wisconsin, will present “Be the Real MVP… Focus on What Matters” at St. Norbert College’s CEO Breakfast & Strategy Series on Thursday, March 5, from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. at the Butte des Morts Country Club in Appleton, Wis. The session is sponsored by American National Bank.

Registration is $60 per person. Space is limited; you can register at http://snc.edu/tickets, by email at schneiderschool@snc.edu or by phone at 920-403-3440.
Hess, a 2002 graduate of St. Norbert College, has been president and chief executive officer of Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin since March 2018.
Hess has been leading an organization that lives out its mission of “elevating people by eliminating barriers to employment” through its programs and services as well as its retail stores and training centers across 35 counties.
Before joining Goodwill, Hess served as vice president of market development and sales for ThedaCare, a nonprofit health care organization. He also has held leadership roles within U.S. Venture and Genco (now FedEx Supply Chain). Hess serves on the boards of directors of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Fox Valley. He has been named one of Wisconsin’s most influential black leaders.

Now under the auspices of the college’s Donald J. Schneider School of Business & Economics, the CEO Breakfast & Strategy Series is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for local businesspeople to meet face-to-face with some of the most respected leaders in the business community and to network with other leaders in the region. Speakers share their unique strategies for facing specific business challenges. Topics are selected by the speakers, and their comments are candid, insightful and not likely to be heard in public elsewhere. Seating is unassigned and questions are accepted from the audience at the end of each presentation.
Of the two remaining presentations, one will be held at St. Norbert College and one will be in Appleton at the Butte des Morts Country Club.

The presenting sponsor for the CEO Breakfast & Strategy Series is Miron Construction; the title sponsors are Davis/Kuelthau Attorneys at Law, Johnson Financial Group and Insight Publications.
