St. Norbert College announces recipients of literary scholarships

Every year at the St. Norbert College Literary Awards, two juniors are recognized for their outstanding talent in writing. The awards given are the Mary McHale Wood Endowed Scholarship for Excellence in Writing and the English Endowed Scholarship. The Mary McHale Wood Endowed Scholarship for Excellence in Writing was established in 2003 by Frank and Agnes Wood in their daughter's memory for talented and disciplined creative writing students in their junior year at St. Norbert College. The scholarship was created to support outstanding writers who demonstrate talent and promise through class work and publication over the course of several semesters while making satisfactory progress toward graduation.
