St. Norbert College CEO Breakfast and Strategy Series

De Pere native James Mulva, Chairman and CEO of ConocoPhillips, will present "An Update on the Energy Industry" as part of the CEO Breakfast and Strategy Series. The seventh and final session in the 2005-2006 series will be held at F.K. Bemis International Conference Center Tuesday, May 16 at 7:30 a.m. The CEO Breakfast and Strategy sessions are forums for senior-level planning executives to hear the strategic thinking and actions that leading CEOs are employing to meet their business challenges. Mulva served as an officer in the U.S. Navy until beginning his career with Phillips Petroleum. He was named President of Phillips Petroleum in 1994 and Chairman and CEO in 1999. When the merger with Conoco took place in 2002, he was named President and CEO and subsequently Chairman in 2004. He also serves as chairman of the American Petroleum Institute and was named "Petroleum Executive of the Year" in 2002. Mulva received both his bachelor and masters degrees in business administration finance from the University of Texas. His wife, Miriam, a 1969 graduate of St. Norbert College, serves on the College's board of trustees. The registration fee is $60.
