St. Norbert College will host Richard Flint and "Understanding the Power of Working Together" on Thursday, Jan. 11 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. in the F.K. Bemis Conference Center. The workshop fee is $49.95 per participant. Targeted audiences include sales training, leadership, management, entrepreneurs and home-based businesses. A reception will follow the seminar with snacks, beverages and a chance to visit with Flint. The guiding thought of "Understanding the Power of Working Together" is "When those who share the work environment do not work together, they weaken the internal spirit and create confusion for those who desire to move forward." Flint will also be exploring the dynamics of confusion, the difference between a personal and common agenda and the process for getting people to work together. The program concludes with a breakdown of the characteristics of a partnership. Flint is a world-renowned speaker who has been consulting individuals and businesses for 22 years. His teaching philosophy focuses on giving the insight needed in order to reach personal and professional goals. He analyzes the relationship between knowledge and behavior and how these two elements impact the working environment.
