Fr. James Neilson to present "St. Augustine and the Christian Imagination"

Fr. James Neilson, O.Praem, assistant professor of art at St. Norbert College, will present "St. Augustine and the Christian Imagination" on Thursday, March 8 at 7 p.m. in the Fort Howard Theater of the Bemis International Center. Fr. Neilson will share thoughts and images as to how the Christian imagination has preserved and promoted the person and ideas of St. Augustine through the visual arts. Fr. Neilson will also discuss how the story of Augustine's life and faith is as familiar and essential to today's culture as it has been for over 1500 years in both the believing and secular cultures. The event is sponsored by the St. Norbert College Center for Norbertine Studies.
