The gala event includes ballroom dancing, gourmet desserts, door prizes, a cash bar and live music. Entertainment will be provided by the St. Norbert College Jazz Ensemble. They will perform hits from the 1930s and 1940s, including "In the Mood," "Moonlight Serenade" and "April in Paris," along with many others. Dance instruction will also be given a various times during throughout the evening. The night of music and dancing is being held to help fund a guest artist for the final Jazz Ensemble concert of the year and a trip to compete in the Eau Claire Jazz Festival. Proceeds from last year's concert enabled the Jazz Ensemble to be active in educational outreach programs like the Eau Claire Jazz Festival and "Jazz Night" at Gillett High School. Proceeds will also assist in buying new music and repairing instruments. For more information, please contact Eric High at (920) 403-2940 or eric.high@snc.edu.
