Scattergood to speak on "Election 2004: Retrospective" as part of the St. Norbert College Distinguished lecture series

De Pere: Wendy Scattergood, assistant professor of Political Science at St. Norbert College, will discuss "Election 2004: Retrospective" as part of the St. Norbert Distinguished Lecture Series, Saturday, April 9 at 8:30 a.m. at the Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek. All lectures are free and open to the public. Scattergood will discuss the overall results of the 2004 election with an emphasis on related topics. The demographics of voter turnout, state ballot initiatives on gay marriage, reasons behind voter choices, and a review of exit polls will be discussed during the presentation. Questions related to the Electoral College and campaign finance will also be addressed. A general discussion on how to evaluate the polls will include audience participation.
