About the Nursing Partnership Program

Our partnership with Bellin College provides more choices and more opportunities for students like you who are interested in health sciences, especially those who value a liberal arts foundation and a residential environment. It combines the best Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in Wisconsin with one of the best liberal arts colleges in the Midwest.

Pre-nursing students are able to select from one of the following two options:

15-Month Option:

  • Students wishing to pursue this option must have an ACT score of at least 23 or an SAT score of at least 1130, and a GPA of at least 3.25 when applying to St. Norbert College.
  • After completing course requirements at St. Norbert College, students transfer to Bellin College.
  • Classes at Bellin start each year in either January or June as noted on Bellin College’s Academic Calendar.
  • The course curriculum runs a full 15 months, with limited breaks.
  • The program is fast-paced and rigorous, making it difficult for students to have jobs or other commitments outside of school.
  • Students earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree (BSN) in 3 ½ years, and are considered alumni of both St. Norbert College and Bellin College upon graduation.

Junior Transfer Option:

  • Any students meeting Admission Requirements may apply.
  • After completing course requirements at St. Norbert College, students transfer to Bellin College.
  • Classes at Bellin start each year in the summer (typically the day after Memorial Day).
  • Course curriculum at Bellin matches that of the 15-Month Option, but runs at a slower pace and is spread out over a full 24 months.
  • The Junior Transfer Option may be a better choice for students who need to maintain employment while in school, have other commitments outside of school, or who feel they will be more successful academically, if given more time.
  • Students earn their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (BSN) in four years, and are considered alumni of both St. Norbert College and Bellin College upon graduation.

High Academic Reputations
St. Norbert College and Bellin College each have an outstanding reputation in their own right. Both colleges offer small classes that enhance the learning process through individual attention from instructors.

St. Norbert has a long history of preparing students for careers in health services. Its natural sciences division is designed to prepare undergraduates for the demands of the rewarding professions in this field.

Bellin College features a faculty equipped with nursing degrees who specialize in specific areas of health care. Many continue to practice nursing, putting them in a position to bring the most up-to-date, real-world information to the classroom and lab settings.

Modern Campuses
Both St. Norbert College and Bellin College call the Green Bay, Wis., area home. The beautiful St. Norbert campus, located on the Fox River in De Pere, just south of Green Bay, comprises a mix of historic and new buildings, including the newly renovated, state-of-the-art Gehl-Mulva Science Center, which opened in the summer of 2015 and houses the northeast Wisconsin campus of the Medical College of Wisconsin.

The Bellin College campus is located in Bellevue, just east of metropolitan Green Bay and next door to the citys newest YMCA facility. The 73,000-square-foot, self-contained campus features state-of-the-art technology and amenities, including fully simulated nursing labs.
