Check Out Video and Photo Highlights from Our Special Events!

Want a glimpse into what was going on during move-in day, Family Weekend and more? Then check out these three video clips and our photo gallery, too.

First up is a short flick covering move-in day, which is always an exciting time on campus. In the video, President Brian Bruess ’90 touts the incoming Class of ’25 featured in the clip. “It’s a really talented class,” he says. “We have the second-largest class in the college’s history, and the most racially and ethnically diverse in the college’s history. Also, 23 states are represented in this first-year class, so they’re coming to us from all across the country. And they’re also, by way of high school GPA, the smartest group of students we’ve ever welcomed.”

Our second video showcases Convocation, which at St. Norbert is an outdoor ceremony welcoming students – especially first-years – to the new academic school year. The school’s professors are there, smartly dressed in their caps and gowns, cheering as the students walk in. Spoiler alert: Part of the event involves students ringing a giant bell.

This third and final video gives you a glimpse into the college’s Involvement Fair, where dozens of student organizations explain what they’re all about. The organizations are focused on academics; diversity, ethnicity and culture; government, programming and media; Greek life; independent social life; recreation; service and faith; and special interests.

“The hope here is that every student that we have at SNC has one group that they can kind of call their own,” says Chris Stewart, assistant director of leadership, student engagement and first-year experience. “A group that helps them get that connection to SNC, and really makes it feel a lot more like home.”
