We are pleased to offer you the chance to take part in a number of ongoing service opportunities that benefit both our local community and our global society. These parish care and outreach ministries listed below involve simple gestures to show love, support, kindness and compassion with others.
Parish Care and Outreach
- Cards of Support: Send notes of care and compassion to those who may be struggling with a variety of challenges.
- Care Ministry: Provide kind and caring conversation, and a gentle presence to those in need.
- Knitting for Peace: Knit or crochet prayer shawls for parishioners or local families in need.
- Prayer Chain: Pray for special intentions as well as the health and well-being of parishioners and their families.
- Big Brothers Big Sisters: Mentor community children and help lead them down a path to a brighter, more promising future.
- Casa ALBA Melanie: Assist staff with providing services, resources, and hope to the local Hispanic/Latino community.
- Ecumenical Partnership for Housing: Support this volunteer-based organization in their mission to provide transitional housing for homeless families.
- House of Hope: Support the local shelter for homeless, pregnant and parenting adults.
- NEW Community Shelter Meal Program: Provide meals to any child or adult in need of food through the New Community Shelter.
- Pro-life Ministry: Offer prayer, educational and volunteer assistance to support the pro-life efforts of the Knights of Columbus.
- St. John the Evangelist Homeless Shelter: Serve the residents of the seasonal, emergency, last-resort shelter for adult men and women.
- St. Pat’s Food Pantry: Support the food pantry through food donations or by volunteering on-site.

Zambia Initiative: An outreach initiative supporting orphans and other extremely vulnerable children in Zambia.
