Out|Loud@SNCParish

In Fall Semester 2020, our parish introduced the newest member of our family of Outreach Ministries at St. Norbert College Parish. Its name is OUT|LOUD@SNCParish and it exists to walk together more intentionally with individuals who have been minoritized on the basis of race, gender, or sexual orientation. 

About Out|Loud@SNCParish
Out|Loud@SNCParish renders visible the parish’s overarching commitment to EVERYONE, welcoming all persons of all gender, sexual, and racial identities. It encourages us to live OUT LOUD as disciples by discovering, following, worshipping and sharing Jesus Christ.

Our Mission: Pursue P.E.A.C.E.
Proclamation, Education, Accompaniment, Celebration, Empowerment

We stand alongside those living as sex, gender, and racial minorities as they continue their faith journeys. We proclaim the cornerstone of all Catholic social teaching; the dignity of the human person. We educate by providing the most comprehensive Catholic resources available about gender, race and sexuality. We uphold all official Catholic teachings and place them in dialogue with other theological voices. We accompany everyone on their faith journey by showing respect, compassion and sensitivity. We celebrate the diversity within our church by being full participants in the life of the college and parish. We empower our members to go out "and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19) proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ with their lives.
