Students at a community service background

Service opportunities

We’re serious about service

Whether it’s on campus, in the local De Pere or Green Bay communities or on the other side of the world, our students believe in helping others.

In turn, they experience personal growth, leadership development and long-lasting connections which serve them well personally — and sometimes even professionally in leveraging their experiences to jobs and internships. We call this service-learning.

The Sturzl Center for Community Service & Learning connects students to service work that promotes the common good by addressing real community needs. The center is grounded firmly in the idea that service can be a medium for personal growth for students and an agent of positive change in our communities.
