State of the Economy Event

Join us for this year’s State of the Economy, presented by the Center for Business & Economic Analysis of the Donald J. Schneider School of Business & Economics at St. Norbert College.

Marc Schaffer, associate professor of economics, will be joined by some of our best and brightest students to present an in-depth look at the factors impacting our economy. They will discuss the current behavior of gross domestic product, unemployment and inflation, as well as key economic changes that may impact the economy in the short term.

Based on attendee feedback, a second session focused on regional economic topics has been added. Attendees can stay for the first hour or both hours, or come just for the last hour.

This event will provide a solid basis for area professionals looking for more economic data ahead of executing their business planning and individuals who are generally interested in the state of the country’s economy.
