Christine Gill

Program Coordinator - Title IX and Student Affairs

Just prior to joining SNC, Christine spent 17 years of her professional career in the non-profit sector, in work that focused on serving at-risk populations. Child abuse prevention, poverty and school readiness are key areas she has been involved with. Her roles have primarily been behind the scenes, working in database management/administration, program improvement and data quality assurance. "I get satisfaction knowing I do important work that sometimes only an analytical (maybe slightly anal) data geek could get through. Helping people makes me happy, as well as contributing ideas and just working hard because I care and want to make a difference."

When away from her desk and work, Christine enjoys being creative with various types of artwork. One of the things she loves the most is leading arts and craft classes. "It's great to see people have fun, relax and play with creative expression. I can share techniques and provide guidance, but having fun and being creative with the process is the main focus (not the end product). However, when people surprise themselves and end up with an art piece that they want to show off...that is really exciting!"
