Addressing Homelessness

 

Destination: Washington, D.C.

Students will serve at the Fr. McKenna Center and deliver needed items to folks who are experiencing homelessness, and other  activities that engage the social justice issues of homelessness and poverty. Participants may also be trained to engage in advocacy with local representatives. Students will learn the root causes of homelessness in the United States and what solutions may be possible.

  • Dates: January 6-13, 2024
  • Cost: $120 ($20 discount for drivers)
  • Number of SNC students including leaders: 10

*Our community partner requires complete vaccination (including COVID booster) in order to participate in this trip.
