St. Norbert Falls in MWC Tournament Championship

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College saw its season come to a close in the championship game of the Midwest Conference Men's Soccer Tournament with a 4-0 loss to Lake Forest College at Farwell Field.
The Green Knights, just two years removed from a 2-14-1 season, advanced to the MWC title game for the first time since 2007. St. Norbert finished the year 9-8-3 overall.
St. Norbert fell behind 1-0 at halftime following a goal by Lake Forest's Dylan Hartman in the 33rd minute. The Foresters put the match away with three second-half goals by Jordan Hartman, Maximus Shaw and Ellis Rutilli.
The Foresters (14-6) outshot St. Norbert 17-5. Scott Faul made three saves in goal for the Green Knights, while Ethan Guenther had two stops for the Foresters.
