MEQUON - St. Norbert College rallied from a five-run deficit to escape with a 7-6 win over Concordia University Wisconsin in a non-conference game at Kapco Park.

The Green Knights (9-4) trailed 6-1 through five innings before mounting a rally. St. Norbert scored two runs in the sixth and four runs in the seventh and Travis Mason kept the Falcons (5-7) off the board with four innings of hitless relief to steal the win.

Concordia jumped out to a 3-0 lead with one run in the second and two runs in the third inning. St. Norbert scored its first run in the fourth inning when Adam Enwiya scored on a wild pitch. The Falcons responded with one more run in the fourth inning and two runs in the fifth to build their lead to 6-1.

St. Norbert scored two runs on one hit in the sixth inning. Chad Ljunggren's RBI grounder scored Enwiya, and Mason's infield single plated Cameron Jerina.

The Green Knights belted out four hits in the decisive seventh inning. With one out, Nick Pierre doubled, and Spencer Larson's single drove in Pierre. Enwiya followed with a base hit to put runners at first and second. Jerina's bunt was misplayed by the Falcons to score a run and put runners at second and third. Following a popout, Ljunggren's two-run single through the left side put the Green Knights ahead for the first time.

Concordia did not get a baserunner the rest of the way as the Mason closed out the win. Mason spun four perfect innings of relief to get his first win of the season, and struck out five.

Ljunggren was 2-for-4 with three RBIs, while Enwiya was 2-for-2 with three runs scored. Mason was 2-for-5 with an RBI.
