Green Knights Split at Lake Forest

LAKE FOREST, Ill. - St. Norbert College split a pair of dual matches, losing a Midwest Conference North Division matchup against Lake Forest College 5-4 before rebounding to take a 6-3 non-conference win over Knox College.
St. Norbert took two doubles points to start out against Lake Forest. Tim Hartwick and Leon Gilman defeated Dragan Trivanovic and Jerry Wang 8-5 at No. 2. Casey Brice and Josh Sweere topped Anthony Mykhaylovskyy and Derek Schaltz 8-4 at No. 3.
The Foresters rebounded to take the match by winning four of the six singles matches. Hartwick won at No. 1 singles by a 2-6, 6-3, 7-5 score over Ellis Lora-Arceo. Nate Gosz tripped Mykhaylovskyy 2-6, 7-5, 10-3 at No. 4.
Against Knox, St. Norbert again got two doubles wins. Hartwick and Gilman defeated Jonathan Ng and Dustin Loch 8-2 at No. 2. Brice and Sweere beat Pragyaditya Mukerjee and Rohail Khan 8-3 at No. 3.
Sweere defeated Karl Ruzgas 6-2, 7-5 at No. 2 singles, followed by a 6-3, 6-0 win for Gosz over Ng at No. 3. Gilman beat Mukerjee 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4, and Kahlo Vue clipped Khan 6-1, 6-2 at No. 6.
