Green Knights Finish Eighth at Disney Cross Country Classic

KISSIMMEE, Fla. - St. Norbert College finished in eighth place, topping several NCAA Division I and II teams, at the Disney Cross Country Classic at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

The Green Knights totaled 246 points to finish eighth out of 34 teams, and finishing directly ahead of NCAA Division II teams Flagler, Florida Tech, Nova Southeastern and NCAA Division I Cleveland State. Johns Hopkins won the meet with 24 points. Sophia Meehan won the meet with a time of 17:41. A total of 304 runners competed on the 5-kilometer course.

Brittany Kozlowski finished 20th overall to lead St. Norbert, posting a time of 18:54. Lisa Baeten was 45th overall with a time of 19:27.

Alyssa Price was 57th with a time of 19:41, while Taylor Miller was 73rd in 20:04. Charlotte Walsh was 77th win 20:08.

Haley Joosten finished in 89th place with a time of 20:28 with Graceanne Tarsa finishing one spot behind in 90th place in 20:29.
