DE PERE - St. Norbert College allowed the game-winning goal with 2.1 seconds remaining in overtime and lost a tough 1-0 decision to UW-Stevens Point in a non-conference game at Resch Olympic Pavilion.

The Green Knights (10-5) saw an eight-game winning streak snapped, one game shy of matching the school record. UW-Stevens Point improved to 10-6-2.

Stevens Point scored the game's lone goal when Emily Lester scored her 10th goal of the season off a loose puck out front with just over two seconds remaining.

St. Norbert had its best scoring chance in the second period when it had 60 seconds of 5-on-3 power-play time, but couldn't score.

Stevens Point outshot St. Norbert 33-26. The Pointers' Sydney Conley made all 26 saves to get the shutout, while Brianna Kelly made 32 saves in the hard-luck loss for the Green Knights.

St. Norbert was 0-for-5 on the power play, while Stevens Point was 0-for-4.
