DE PERE - St. Norbert College couldn't get on the scoreboard and consequently lost a 1-0 decision to Monmouth College in a Midwest Conference match at Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights (5-2, 2-1 MWC) outshot the Fighting Scots (4-4-1, 1-2 MWC) 19-10 in the match and 15-2 in the second half, but couldn't put anything home. St. Norbert had two quality second-half scoring chances, but one shot hit the post and a second rang the crossbar.

Monmouth scored the game's only goal when Kara-Jade Gordon cashed in on a give-and-go pass from Andrea Correa at the 12:29 mark.

St. Norbert had a 6-3 edge in corner kicks.

Maddie Plinska made seven saves in the loss for St. Norbert, while Nicole Neagle made seven stops for the Fighting Scots.
