MADISON -- St. Norbert College advanced all three doubles teams to the championship matches of the Midwest Conference Doubles Championship -- winning a pair of titles -- at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.

Katherine Ake and Katlyn Gahan claimed the No. 2 flight championship with an 8-5 win over Grinnell College's Megan Jans and Anushka Joshi. Ake and Gahan advanced through the bracket with an 8-1 win over Illinois College's Jovanna Chavez and Lisa Noggle in the quarterfinals. The duo then topped Cornell College's Gabriella Ferro and Janice Elkerton by an 8-2 score in the semifinals.

It was the third MWC doubles title for Ake, who won at No. 2 in 2014 and No. 3 in 2013.

Anna Gosz and Ashley Randazzo won their second MWC title as a doubles tandem at No. 3, also winning the conference title in 2014. Gosz and Randazzo beat Cornell's Raquel Ruiz and Abbey Nelson 8-5 in the championship. The pair topped Ripon College's Lily Lenk and Madeline Salzer 8-0 in the quarterfinals and Lake Forest College's Sara Grosse and Samantha Russell 8-4 in the semifinals.

Elizabeth Manlick and Meg Witt lost in the championship match at No. 1 flight to Grinnell's Judith Fan and Amelia Cogan by an 8-4 score. The pair beat Illinois College's Kathryn Ryan and Sally Kate Hixson in the quarterfinals 8-5 and followed with an 8-6 win over Cornell's Julia Thome and Shashanna Moll in the semifinals.
