DE PERE - St. Norbert College fell behind by a pair of goals early and couldn't recover in a 3-1 loss to Adrian College in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Resch Olympic Pavilion.

The Green Knights (0-3, 0-2 NCHA) found themselves in a hole early when Adrian, ranked No. 5 in the USCHO.com Division III Poll, scored two goals in the first six minutes of the game.

Brooke Lupi scored for the Bulldogs (1-0, 1-0) just 3:43 into the game, and Adrian's Kristin Lewicki added a power-play goal at 5:57 for a 2-0 lead.

St. Norbert answered with a goal by Reaghan Chadwick, her fourth on the young season. Chadwick scored from the far post into an open net off assists from Jillian Kosteck and Kyle Gazzolo at 13:34 of the first period to make the score 2-1.

Adrian got some breathing room when Sarah Shureb scored at 3:28 of the second period for what would be the game's final goal.

The Bulldogs outshot the Green Knights 51-12. Leigh Grall made 48 saves for the Green Knights, three shy of matching a school record. Brooke Gibson made 11 stops for Adrian.

Adrian was 1-for-8 on the power play, while St. Norbert was 0-for-5.
