St. Norbert Blanks Northland

DE PERE - St. Norbert College picked up its first win of the season with a 4-0 non-conference victory over Northland College at Resch Olympic Pavilion.
The Green Knights (1-5) pulled away from the Lumberjills (1-6) with three third-period goals.
St. Norbert would get all the scoring it would need when Rebecka Olsson scored at 16:02 of the first period. That goal would hold up through two periods until the Green Knights put the game away in the third period.
Jillian Kosteck scored a power-play goal at the 9:02 mark of the third period for a 2-0 lead. Kelli Sorge added a goal at 13:46 and Jessica Schlaff closed out the scoring with a marker at 19:17.
Kosteck and Sorge both had assists to give them two-point games.
The Green Knights outshot the Lumberjills 48-17. Brianna Kelly made 17 saves for the Green Knights to register the shutout. Chloe Marshall made 44 saves for Northland.
St. Norbert was 1-for-4 on the power play while Northland was 0-for-3.
