Green Knights Place Second at Carroll

WAUKESHA - St. Norbert College finished in second place at the Carroll University Pioneer Invitational.

The Green Knights totaled 164 points to finish just behind UW-Stevens Point's 168 1/2 points. Carthage College was third with 144 points.

Samantha Morateck won the high jump with a mark of 5 feet 8 inches, currently the top clearance t his season nationally in Division III. Morateck was one centimeter shy of matching the 25-year-old school record set by Laura Salm in 1992 of 5-8 1/2.

St. Norbert's 4x400-meter relay of Maddie LeBrun, Brooke Freitag, Taylor Domro and Brittany Kozlowski won with a time of 4:08.85.

Mueller captured first place in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 15.76 seconds.

Erin Artz won the 10,000-meter run with a time of 36:57.15, while Kelly Heniff was third in 41:42.65. Lisa Baeten won the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:34.13.

Kaitlyn Hintz, Sarah Duff, Erin Lang and Mueller were second in the 4x100-meter relay in 51.06 seconds.

Teagan Wernicke was third in the triple jump with a distance of 33-4. Hintz was third in the javelin throw with a toss of 108-4. Hailey Ruplinger was third in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:22.23.
