Green Knights Win Wisconsin Lutheran Invite

WEST ALLIS - St. Norbert College won the Wisconsin Lutheran College Invitational with the second consecutive year with a strong showing at Greenfield Park.

The Green Knights won the team title with 49 points, edging runner-up University of Dubuque's 58 points.

Sarah Parbs earned her first career win by claiming the individual title out of a field of 137 contestants with a time of 23:46.97.

Mckenna Egnarski finished eighth with a time of 25:17.25, while Elisabeth Klumpyan was ninth in 25:20.08. Elle Dannecker was 17th in 25:47.96, while Morgan McClone was 20th in 25:57.20.

The Green Knights also competed at the Carleton College Running of the Cows in Northfield, Minn., taking sixth place out of 14 teams with 183 points. Carleton won the meet with 28 points.

Graceanne Tarsa led the St. Norbert contingent with a 20th-place finish in 23:45. Gretchen Prince was 34th in 24:17.8.

Tori Nelsen finished in 40th place with a time of 24:39.8, while Lisa Baeten was 43rd in 24:44.2. Alyssa Wegner was 46th overall with a time of 24:51.9.
