St. Norbert Trims Grinnell

DE PERE - St. Norbert College opened its three-game road trip with a solid 60-46 win over Grinnell College at Darby Gym.
The Green Knights jumped out to an 8-2 lead on a pair of baskets from both Sarah Neumann and Sarah Ratajczyk. The Pioneers cut the deficit to 13-11 late in the first quarter, but Hannah Ciesielczyk's hoop gave St. Norbert an 18-13 lead after the first quarter.
St. Norbert opened the second quarter on an 8-0 run to take firm control. Neumann, Sarah Wiseman, Ratajczyk and Neumann again scored baskets as the Green Knights opened up a 26-13 lead with 7:33 left in the period. St. Norbert maintained the advantage and led 34-19 at halftime.
St. Norbert never led by less than 15 points until the game's final minute.
The Green Knights shot 26-for-61 (42.6 percent) from the floor. Wiseman led the Green Knights with 18 points. Neumann added 12 points and 10 rebounds, while Ratajczyk added 10 points.
Grinnell shot 29.8 percent (17-for-57) from the floor. Tyria Heath led the Pioneers with 15 points.
