DE PERE - St. Norbert College senior golfer Gabe Dahl has been named to the 2010 College Division Academic All-America Team as sponsored by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and ESPN The Magazine. Dahl was a third-team honoree.

Dahl, a Green Bay native and a graduate of Green Bay Southwest High School, owns a 3.85 grade point average with a major in business administration. Dahl is a four-time All-Midwest Conference honoree and was twice named MWC North Division Player of the Year. During the 2010 season, Dahl finished in the top five in seven of 10 tournaments. Dahl was also named the Outstanding Male Academic Athlete of the St. Norbert Class of 2010.

St. Norbert's 43 Academic All-Americans are the most among Midwest Conference member schools. The at-large team encompasses student-athletes from the sports of bowling, crew, fencing, field hockey, golf, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, swimming, tennis, men's volleyball, water polo and wrestling.

To be eligible for national or regional selection, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 on a scale of 4.0, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at his current institution and be nominated by his sports information director. The Academic All-America team is selected after All-District teams are picked from eight geographic regions nationally.
