DE PERE - St. Norbert College sophomore Emily Schudrowitz has been named the Women's Indoor Track Scholar Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

Schudrowitz, a Wauwatosa native, was the NCAA Division III indoor 800-meter run champion this past March. She also placed sixth at the NCAA outdoor meet in May.

Schudrowitz owns a 3.91 grade point average with a major in international business.

USTFCCCA Scholar Athletes are determined from those who earned All-Academic status and placed highest in individual events at the most recent NCAA championships.

Schudrowitz was St. Norbert's lone USTFCCCA All-Academic selection.
