St. Norbert Shutout by Ashford

KENOSHA - St. Norbert College fell to 1-5 on the season with a 2-0 loss to Ashford (Iowa) University at the Carthage College Battle on the Border at Art Keller Field.

The Green Knights, who picked up their first win of the year with a 2-1 overtime win over the University of Dubuque on Friday, were outshot 18-2.

Ashford's Trisha Shoemaker scored both goals, coming in the 32nd and 89th minutes.

Cara Tazioli made 12 saves for the Green Knights, who did not force Ashford goalkeeper Kylie Willet to make a save. Ashford had four corner kicks to St. Norbert's zero.
