St. Norbert Finishes 3-1 at UW-Platteville Tournament

PLATTEVILLE - St. Norbert College finished the UW-Platteville Tournament with a 3-1 record following wins over Edgewood College and UW-Stout.

The Green Knights (13-4) topped Edgewood 25-19, 25-19, 25-22, and then went on to beat Stout 13-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-14.

Against Edgewood, Mary Kate Manion led the offense with 10 kills and added eight digs. Catherine Guido had 25 digs, while Emily Rohde had 23 assists.

In the win over Stout, Lauren Meehan - who was named to the all-tournament team - had 13 kills and 19 digs. Sarah Sulentic had 18 kills, Rohde 28 assists and Guido 30 digs.

St. Norbert is idle until Oct. 5 when it travels to Ripon College for its Midwest Conference opener.
