Green Knights Rout Knox for Second-Straight Win

GALESBURG, Ill. - St. Norbert College had its biggest offensive output of the year with a 6-0 Midwest Conference win over Knox College.

The Green Knights improved to 4-7 overall and 3-2 in the Midwest Conference, while the Prairie Fire fell to 5-7, 0-4.

Kayla Pope and Zoe Kurth both scored two goals for the Green Knights, while Stephanie Pedretti and Brittany Kosobucki also had a goal apiece. Pope scored the Green Knights' first two goals, while Pedretti and Kurth each scored to give them a 4-0 halftime lead. Kosobucki and Kurth scored St. Norbert's second-half goals. Katherine Larson added an assist on Pope's first goal.

St. Norbert outshot Knox 14-3 and had a 7-0 edge in corner kicks. Cara Tazioli made one save for her second shutout of the season, while Racheal Koene had four saves for the Prairie Fire.
