Second Half Dooms St. Norbert at Carroll

WAUKESHA - St. Norbert College surrendered four second-half goals en route to a 5-1 Midwest Conference loss to Carroll University at Schneider Stadium.
The Green Knights wrapped up the MWC portion of their schedule at 6-3, and needs just a Monmouth tie in its last two games to clinch a MWC Tournament berth. Carroll is 11-5, 7-1 in the MWC.
Kendell Uttech's goal at the 7-minute mark gave the Pioneers a 1-0 lead into halftime. Kylie Ringelstetter scored in the 53rd minute for a 2-0 lead. Carroll would score three more times within a six-minute stretch midway through the half to put the game away.
Olivia Roff's unassisted goal at the 70:31 mark was St. Norbert's only score.
Carroll held a 16-9 shots advantage, including 10-3 in the second half. The Pioneers had eight corner kicks to the Green Knights' three.
Taylor Mclean made five saves for Carroll, while Cara Tazioli made six saves for St. Norbert.
