Green Knights Take Third at Wisconsin Private College Invite

WAUWATOSA - St. Norbert College finished third at the Wisconsin Private College Invitational hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College at Raabe Stadium.

The Green Knights compiled 133 points in their third-place finish. Carthage College won the meet with 210.5 points, while Carroll University was second with 143.5 points.

Danielle Krause won the pole vault, clearing a height of 10 feet and 3/4 inches. Sara Hasenjager claimed the title in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 42:22.63. Maddy Nelson finished in a tie in the 100-meter dash in 12.52 seconds and added a fourth-place showing in the 200-meter dash in 26.74 seconds.

Andrea Bosman took second in the high jump with a height of 4-9, and was fourth in the 100-meter hurdles in 16.09 seconds.

Erin McShea, Jenny Roden and Melissa Menne finished third through fifth, respectively, in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. McShea had a time of 12:48.49, Roden 13:30.32 and Menne 13:52.88.

Nikki Swanson was third in the javelin with a toss of 93 feet 8 inches, and was fifth in the long jump in 16-2 1/2. Elvia Martinez was third in the 10K with a time of 43:49.53.

Jenne Wiedemeier was fourth in the pole vault at 8-6 3/4. Ali Schmidt was fifth in the discus in with a toss of 114 feet 3 inches. Karissa Kaiser tied for fifth in the high jump at 4-7.

Additionally, at the Gina Relays hosted by Hillsdale College, Emily Schudrowitz provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Championship in the 800 meters with a time of 2:13.46. Amanda Whipple fell just over 2 seconds short of qualifying in the 10,000-meter run with a time of 37:26.07 seconds.
