Schudrowitz Flies Into NCAA Division III 800-Meter Run Finals

DELAWARE, Ohio - St. Norbert College junior Emily Schudrowitz posted the second-best time out of 22 entrants in the 800-meter run preliminaries at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Ohio Wesleyan University.

Schudrowitz finished with a time of 2 minutes 10.33 seconds to finish second in her heat and overall. Only Coe College's Keelie Finnel turned in a better time with a 2:09.48 performance.

Schudrowitz will compete in the eight-person finals at 2:30 p.m. CDT Saturday. She won the 2010 NCAA Division III indoor 800-meter national title and was sixth at least year's outdoor 800-meter race.
