St. Norbert Beats UW-Oshkosh In Quadrangular Split

STEVENS POINT - St. Norbert College beat UW-Oshkosh for the first time in 18 years with a three-set win over the Titans at the UW-Stevens Point Quadrangular at Berg Gym. The Green Knights also lost a four-set match to the host Pointers.

The Green Knights (15-5) topped Oshkosh 25-22, 25-19, 25-22 in the opener, the first time they have clipped the Titans since beating them twice in three days in 1993. St. Norbert then lost to Stevens Point 17-25, 25-16, 25-19, 25-16.

Against Oshkosh, Breanne Brocker and Alex Bresser each had 11 kills. Abby West totaled 30 assists, while Catherine Guido had 21 digs. Danielle Remy totaled six blocks. The Green Knights hit .325 for the match, getting 34 kills in 77 attempts against nine errors.

Against Stevens Point, Brocker finished with nine kills while Remy and Bresser had eight kills each. Guido totaled 28 digs with Brocker adding 15. West had 14 assists and Carley Valentine 12. St. Norbert hit .308 for the match, totaling 36 kills in 78 attempts with 12 errors.
