Since the two teams were the top finishers in round-robin action, they turned around to immediately play a championship match, which the Pointers claimed in four sets.

The Green Knights (21-7) won the first two sets in the opener before falling 15-25, 19-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-13. The Pointers (23-6) then claimed the second match 23-25, 25-15, 25-14, 25-16.
