St. Norbert Finishes Unbeaten in MWC Play

DE PERE - St. Norbert College finished the Midwest Conference regular season unbeaten with a three-set win over Carroll University at Schuldes Sports Center. The Green Knights topped the Pioneers 25-16, 25-16, 25-15.

St. Norbert (24-7, 9-0 MWC) will host the four-team Midwest Conference Tournament Friday and Saturday at Schuldes Sports Center. St. Norbert will face Grinnell in one semifinal, while Monmouth and Lake Forest will battle in the other.

The Green Knights hit .211 in the match, getting 39 kills on 16 errors in 109 attacks. Danielle Remy and Breanne Brocker each had 11 kills. Abby West totaled 35 assists. Catherine Guido led the defense with 18 digs, while Brocker added 14.

Carroll (13-16, 5-4) finished with an .032 hitting percentage. Emily Cecka had eight kills, while Samantha Derynda had 22 assists. Michelle Eberhardy finished with 16 digs.
