GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College gained a series split with UW-Stevens Point with a 4-1 win over the Pointers in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at the Cornerstone Community Center.
The Green Knights, ranked No. 1 in the USCHO.com Division III Poll, improved to 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the NCHA. Stevens Point dropped to 1-2, 1-1.
St. Norbert opened with the game's first goal when Johan Ryd buried a shot at 13 minutes 59 seconds of the first period, with Cullen Bradshaw assisting.
Bradshaw then gave St. Norbert a 2-0 lead after Ryd cycled the puck around from behind the net and fed it to an open shooter at 13:50.
