Green Knights Stalemate With Oles

NORTHFIELD, Minn. - St. Norbert College skated to its fourth tie of the season with a 2-2 deadlock with St. Olaf College in a non-conference game at Northfield Ice Arena.

The Green Knights are now 7-3-4 overall, while the Oles are 7-3-3.

St. Olaf took an early 1-0 lead on a goal by Ross Trousdale at the 10 minutes 53 seconds mark of the first period. The Green Knights drew even at 1-1 on a power-play goal by Zach McDonald at the 14:57.

The Green Knights took a 2-1 lead at 10:28 of the second period on a goal by Reid Campbell. The Oles scored the equalizer on a power-play goal by Dylan Porter at 19:04.

St. Olaf had a power-play opportunity in overtime but couldn't convert.

St. Norbert outshot St. Olaf 43-28. David Jacobson made 26 saves for St. Norbert, while Steve Papciak turned away 41 shots for St. Olaf. St. Norbert was 1-for-3 on the power play, while St. Olaf was 1-for-4.
