St. Norbert Gets Scoring Avalanche Against Finlandia

GREEN BAY - St. Norbert College netted 75 shots on goal as the Green Knights went on to post a 9-0 win over Finlandia University in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at the Resch Olympic Pavilion.
St. Norbert (9-12, 7-9 NCHA) had its highest-scoring game of the season and the second-highest in program history. Finlandia dropped to 0-17-2, 0-14-1.
St. Norbert scored two goals in each of the first two periods before wearing down the Lions with five goals in the third period. The Green Knights outshot Finlandia 75-15.
Lotta Haarala scored the game's opening goal at the 7:44 mark of the first period. Andrea Senne added the second goal at 13:58. Danielle Rozon and Henriette Ostergaard netted power-play goals 53 seconds apart in the second period for a 4-0 edge.
Ostergaard, Haarala, Tarraneh Dadgar and Zoe Kurth all scored in the third period for the Green Knights. Haarala's marker was a power-play goal.
Haarala and Senne both tallied assists for three-point games, while Dadgar had two assists and also posted a three-point night.
Mandy Montgomery made 15 saves for the St. Norbert, while Breanna Hynes made 66 stops for the Lions. The Green Knights were 3-for-7 on the power play, while Finlandia was 0-for-2.
