Ryd Leads St. Norbert Contingent on All-NCHA Team

DE PERE - St. Norbert College senior forward Johan Ryd has been named Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Player of the Year to lead honors for the Green Knights announced by the conference office.

Ryd, the seventh St. Norbert player to garner the school's eight NCHA Player of the Year honors (Kyle Jones won the award twice), scored 25 points in 18 league games to top the circuit. He finished the regular season with 14 goals and 19 assists for 33 points overall and committed just two penalties in 25 games.

Joining Ryd as a first-team All-NCHA selection were sophomore defenseman Reid Campbell and freshman goaltender David Jacobson. Campbell scored four goals and eight assists for 12 points during the regular season. Jacobson enjoyed a banner rookie season with a 13-2-3 record, 1.82 goals against average and .925 save percentage.

Freshman forward Cullen Bradshaw, junior forward Cody Keefer and sophomore defenseman Zach McDonald were named honorable mention All-NCHA. Bradshaw scored six goals and 19 assists for 25 points, while Keefer has 12 goals and eight assists for 20 points. McDonald finished with one goal and six assists for seven points.

Bradshaw and Jacobson were both named to the NCHA All-Rookie Team.
