Netters Get Back On Track, Beat Wartburg

GREEN BAY - The St. Norbert College men's tennis team returned to action with a 7-2 dual-meet triumph over Wartburg College at Western Racquet Club.
The Green Knights (7-10) swept all three doubles points and claimed four of the six singles matches.
Adrian Acosta and Ryan Kerswill teamed up at No. 1 doubles to beat Tylor Schlader and Tom Koenen 8-2. Chris Schmitz and Mike Hyrczyk beat Andrew Koehler and Anthony Greco 8-5 at No. 2 doubles. Dan Richter and Eric Koppmann completed the doubles sweep, besting Patrick Mullen and Andrew Seeba 8-3 at No. 3.
Koppmann won by the biggest margin in singles action, beating Bryan Arndt 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5 singles. Tackaberry defeated Mullen 6-0, 6-1 at No. 6.
Acosta beat Koehler at No. 3 by a 6-4, 6-2 score, while Kerswill upended Greco 6-2, 6-1 at No. 4 singles.
St. Norbert returns to action on Saturday, April 5 with a double dual against Grinnell and Lawrence at Western Racquet Club.
