Schneider Wins 200 as SNC Places Sixth at Oshkosh

OSHKOSH - Dann Schneider won the 200-meter dash to lead the St. Norbert College men's track and field team to a sixth-place finish at the UW-Oshkosh Invitational at Titan Stadium.

The Green Knights totaled 48 points, the highest total at the meet among non-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference teams. UW-Oshkosh won the meet with 174.5 points.

Schneider ran a time of 22.93 seconds to claim the 200-meter dash championship, St. Norbert's lone win on the afternoon. Schneider later added a sixth-place showing in the triple jump with a leap of 12.97 meters.

Paul Leeman finished in fourth place in the triple jump with a jump of 13.09 meters.

Posting fifth-place finishes were Josh Zweiger in the 110-meter hurdles (16.46 seconds) and Mackenzie Laska in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (10:42.50). The Green Knights' 4x100-meter relay team also took fifth with a time of 44.29 seconds.

Jeff Pentek was seventh in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:16.13.
